Job Description: Reports to the Principal Investigator one hour a week to discuss progress on project The perusal of scholarly databases and the downloading of articles focused on a specific topic Develop search criteria in consultation with Principal Investigator Organizing the articles based on pre-determined characteristics The development of a high-level summary report of the literature review using creative and critical thought on presenting data in clear and useful ways. Other duties to proactively address project needs in close consultation with supervision
Required Qualifications: An undergraduate degree with three years of qualified experience in a similar position with research support responsibilities. Must be capable of prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines and able to provide evidence of excellent writing and presentation skills. Must have strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently. Demonstrated experience with software products such as Microsoft word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Demonstrated experience perusing scholarly databases.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate student in Social Work, Public Health, Medicine or related field interested in victimization research. Good understanding of conducting either literature or systematic reviews
Rate of Pay: $13.50
