Name of Organization: University at Buffalo Child Care Center (UBCCC)
Position Title: Board of Directors Member
Service Commitment Details: Approximately 4 hours a month
Position Location: Typically meetings are held at the UB Centers North and South Campus sites, but is currently remote. Remote options may continue to be available once in person sessions have resumed.
Start Date: Monday, Jan. 3, 2022
Position Description: Our Board of Directors consists of respected local professionals, UB faculty, staff and parents of center children. They are responsible for fiscal and policy matters pertaining to the UB Child Care Center and are organized into several subcommittees. The UBCCC Board of Directors usually meets on every second Monday of each month from 5 - 7 p.m. at alternating center locations or via Zoom when unable to meet in person. Board members are expected to participate on 1-2 committees.
Required Qualifications: The UBCCC BOD is open to any interested parties who may have experience or expertise in non-profits, financial, policy, legal, personnel, communications and marketing.
