Registration and Payment

You may register and pay online for your continuing education training in one convenient process.

For online payment, you may use a credit card or eCheck from your bank account. You will receive a $30 discount if you register for three or more trainings at the same time. The UBF online credit card/eCheck process is recommeded because it is encrypted and secure.

Payment must be received by the day of the training (unless there is an earlier due date specified) in order to receive your CEU certificate at the end of the training.

Some types of registrations are NOT eligible for the online process and must be sent by fax or mail. These include:

  • Multiple people being registered with a single payment.
  • Agency group discounts.
  • Certificate Programs that require the submission of documentation along with the registration form or have discount prices for the full certificate program fee.
  • Any original Continuing Education discount certificates issued to people (these can only be submitted by US mail with accompanying registration form).
  • Summer graduate MSW elective one-credit courses offered through Continuing Education.
  • Any other trainings that require a specialized registration process.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Live Workshops: You must cancel more than 10 business days before the training date to receive a refund minus a $25 processing fee. If you cancel five or fewer business days before the training date, you may receive a credit letter minus a $25 processing fee. There may be instances with a special workshop has additional cancellation rules and that will be stated in the workshop description. Credit letters are valid for two years and can be used as payment toward future trainings.
  • Certificate programs or special programs: You must cancel more than 10 business days before the first training date to receive a refund minus a $25 processing fee. If you cancel five or fewer business days before the training date, you may receive a credit letter minus a $25 processing fee. Credit letters are valid for two years and can be used as payment toward future trainings. No credit letters or refunds will be issued if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. These are general cancellation polices and specific certificate programs or other special multi-session programs may have different cancellation rules stated in the brochure.
  • The above information reflects general cancellation policies. Special trainings or certificate programs may include additional cancellation rules in their brochures or marketing material.
  • Our NYS OMH Children, Youth and Families Mental Health Evidence-based Practice Project has its own cancellation policies specified on its registration page.
