Our SAMHSA Trainers

The Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care (ITTIC) was one of seven locations across the country awarded a "Train the Trainer" grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): How Being Trauma-Informed Improves Criminal Justice Responses.

ITTIC is pleased to collaborate with Hilbert College's Institute of Law and Justice and Martin Floss, PhD, on the implementation of the training. Together we have created a core group of local SAMHSA-trained trainers who will now train others on becoming trauma-informed within the criminal justice system.
