Having our say: African American and Latino New Mothers Discuss their Experiences with Postpartum Depression


The objectives of this project are: 1) to collect information from key informants concerning their views of what services should be provided to alleviate postpartum depression among mothers of color. 2) To use the key informant responses to develop focus group questions to ask mothers of color who have experienced post partum depression and 3) to provide the Finger Lakes Perinatal Forum with additional data from the interviews that can be used to further screening and assessment for grant writing that will enhance service delivery to mothers of color living with postpartum depression in the Region.
