Education

Social workers in education are part of a vital system connecting schools with communities, families and individuals. They are instrumental in supporting and furthering the purpose of schools — to provide a quality setting for learning and attaining competence and confidence for both students and teachers. Through their attention to nourishing the relationship between a school, the community and the student, these professionals help to improve students’ social and emotional health and academic success/outcomes.
