NYS Social Work Education Consortium Western and Rochester Region Award

This grant operates out of the State University of New York at Albany as a formal partnership among the deans of the graduate social work programs, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the 57 county social services commissioners and the Administration for Children's Services in NYC. The mission of the NYS Social Work Education Consortium is to improve the quality, professional status and stability of the public sector child welfare workforce, including better ways to recruit and retain qualified workers. Through a sub-allocation to the Office of Continuing Education and the Research Center, administrative and evaluation support is provided to the project.
