The purpose of this study is to conduct a community-based research project in collaboration with the Burmese Community Support Center (BCSC) to collect baseline data on factors related to behavioral health outcomes among the Burmese refugees living in Buffalo. The data will be analyzed to describe baseline behavioral health conditions and identify risk and protective factors of behavioral health, which will then inform the design and development of culturally appropriate intervention projects to respond to the behavioral health needs of the Burmese refugee community.
