The Buffalo Niagara Summer Institute offers six seated MSW one-credit elective courses taught by expert local clinicians and faculty.
All June and July one-credit MSW courses count toward the UB School of Social Work’s MSW degree. All School courses approved as clinical courses that count towards social work licensure are listed here.
Our summer courses can be taken by current UB MSW students as well as non-matriculated or non-degree students.
CEUs: New York LMSW and LCSW Contact Hours (CEUs) are included as specified in the course descriptions. NYSED LMHC, LCAT and LMFT; NYS OASAS renewal hours
Courses will be held at the UB Center for Tomorrow, Flint Road & Maple Road, Amherst, NY 14260 or at UB Parker Hall, 3435 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14214-8004. Check course descriptions for the location.

Billing is sent electronically to your buffalo.edu email address. Paper bills are no longer mailed by UB. If you do not check your buffalo.edu email and pay your tuition bill on time, you will be charged late fees by UB.

Valid SUNY tuition waivers issued to UB MSW field educators may be used to pay for tuition. Waivers do not cover standard course fees or the nondegree application fee. For tuition waiver questions, call the MSW Field Education Office at 716-645-1234 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
