Job Description: Therapeutic Social Workers provide safe agency access to children and parents who may have a past history of separation, neglect, and/or abuse, to work towards increasing positive parenting skills and healing from issues that led to the need for supervised access. Therapeutic Social Workers help the children and parents to engage in physically and emotionally safe ways. Therapeutic Social Workers hold parents accountable to program policies while also maintaining engagement and rapport with the parents. | Required Qualifications: | MSW, LMSW, MHC, LMHC, MFT, LMFT are welcome to apply! - Able to work 2 evenings plus one partial weekend day in order to facilitate visits during hours children are not in school - Proficient or willing to learn Microsoft Word., Microsoft Teams, and able to learn agency database - As responsibilities could once in a while require travel or transporting children, have appropriate and reliable transportation, and agency-required level of auto insurance coverage. |
| Preferred Qualifications: | Experience working with children and families -Consistent use of strengths based, trauma-informed care approach -Effective assessment and engagement skills for working with court-mandated clients |
| Rate of Pay: | Based on credentials/experience, salary range is from $47,736 - $52,704 |
