| Job Description: | Mobile Crisis Counselors in the Emergency Mental Health Response Services Program are responsible for providing on-site crisis intervention and assessments to individuals in crisis or emergency mental health situations in the community. The primary goals of this program are client safety, suicide prevention, and hospital diversion. |
| Required Qualifications: | - Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or other human service-related job field plus one (1) year of supervised experience (pre- or post-graduate) providing services to individuals in a mental health or human service setting, OR - Associate's degree in human services-related field from an accredited educational institution plus a minimum of three (3) years of applicable professional experience. - A valid NYS driver’s license. - Access to a reliable vehicle with at least the minimum amount of automobile insurance required by New York State. |
