| Job Description: | Mobile Crisis Counselors are part of our Emergency Mental Health Response Services team. These Master’s-level Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors are responsible for providing on-site crisis intervention and assessments to individuals in crisis or emergency mental health situations in the community. The primary goals of this program are client safety, suicide prevention, and hospital diversion. |
| Required Qualifications: | - Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, and - Licensure/permit or permit-eligibility in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling One (1) year of supervised experience (pre- or post-graduate) providing services to individuals in a mental health or human service setting. - A valid NYS driver’s license and access to a usable vehicle. |
