Job Description: | Position Summary: The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant works collaboratively with child care providers on-site to explore strategies and problem-solving approaches that promote the social-emotional competencies of young children and caregiver wellbeing and reduce caregiver stress and burn-out. They will strengthen the relationship between children, ages 0-5 years (with a primary focus on 0-3 years), and their child care providers. They will not offer direct therapeutic services to children or families. Required Qualifications: | Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or other related counseling/mental health degrees and one year of direct child care experience; OR Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Early Education and/or Childhood Education or related field and three years of direct child care experience Working knowledge of infant and early childhood typical and atypical development, early childhood mental health, adverse childhood experiences, and family systems Demonstrated experience with, or attention to equity, inclusion, and cultural humility. Written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present and engage with diverse audiences, specifically racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse communities. Ability to work independently and effectively manage time. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. |

Rate of Pay: | 24.70 per hour |
