| Job Description: | Crisis Services is seeking a 988 Coordinator to help ensure that our Crisis Counseling Program (24-hour crisis hotline) team is meeting and exceeding our mission of providing high-quality emotional support and crisis intervention services for the community. |
| Required Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Mental Health, Education, Health Promotion, or related Human Service field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health services and substance abuse/addictions would be preferred. Experience with crisis situations and quickly establishing rapport with clients helpful. Demonstrated ability and experience working with diverse populations. Experience with suicidology, substance abuse and the addictions field. Strong data analysis and reporting skills and experience. Strong knowledge of mental health dynamics and effects, public awareness, and crisis intervention services as well a strong knowledge of addiction, chemical dependency and dual diagnosis. Proven skills and knowledge of principles and methods for training and curriculum design; teaching and instruction for individuals and groups. Professional verbal and written communication skills. |
