| Job Description: | Job Description Gateway-Longview is hiring a Supervisor of Intensive Preventive Services to provide weekly clinical and administrative supervision to the Intensive Preventive Services Program as well as other Preventive Services programs. This will include support and provide clinical supervision to all Preventive services programs as appointed. This position will also: - Utilize a Solution-Focused Trauma-Informed Care Approach to collaborate with staff, consumers, collaterals, and stakeholders. Support the engagement, re-engagement/retention, and safety assessment/planning with families. - Support the Assistant Director in ensuring quality improvement among programs through Quality Improvement Plans, guided by best practice and outcomes within established financial limits. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, accreditation, and standards of practice - Support the Assistant Director, administration, and program staff in maintaining continuity through effective selection, training, supervision, evaluation, and motivation of staff. - Assist in developing, implementing, and supporting marketing strategies to promote service utilization. - Ensure completion of all required case related and supervisory documentation in a thorough, accurate & timely manner. Including however not limited to: health/safety assessments, performance evaluations, intake reports, time sheets, performance outcomes, case record reviews, SIR, treatment planning, Connections Progress Notes, ETO data entry, census, etc. - Available to work non-traditional hours, including weekend and evenings to support specific programmatic schedules, crisis intervention needs, and on-call support. Serve as back-up and direct support to families as needed including transportation of children and families. - Strengthen skills and integrate application through on-going supervisory and in-service training when available and/or required. |
| Required Qualifications: | - Bachelor’s with 8 – 10 years’ experience in the Human Service Field, demonstrating a strong foundation of both training and practice in family systems, assessment and clinically-based supervised related to children and families, and a minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience. - Valid New York State Drivers License and adequate auto insurance. - Ability to work effectively with clients, families, staff and community contacts from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. |
