| Job Description: | Social Worker, LMSW, providing a continuum of services to families involved in Erie County Family or Supreme Court. Services include Therapeutic Supervised Visitation, Monitored Exchange, Co-Parenting Educational Groups. Candidate will conduct therapeutic supervised visits with parents who typically have a history of neglect, physical and/or sexual abuse or abandonment with their children. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the child welfare system. Experience working with issues related to child abuse and neglect, abandonment, parenting skill development, mental health, substance abuse, high conflict families and trauma preferred. Requires the ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with other service providers and the court system. Candidate must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Must be flexible and available to work 2 evenings and one weekend day. Reliable transportation required.
