Job Description: The Clinicians will be responsible for providing mental health treatment, primarily although not exclusively to children 0-5 and their families, and working collaboratively with early childhood centers to improve mental health services. Approximately once per week the Clinician will work as an early childhood mental health consultant assigned to several schools to provide individual and program-level consultations and support, including but not limited to classroom observations, parent meetings, staff trainings, and case-specific meetings, both to identify children who need mental health services and to help classrooms to become more socio-emotionally responsive. Some early evening work may be required. In this role, the clinician will be required to undergo training and coaching in evidence-based treatment models, including CPP, to be provided. Clinicians will remain flexible regarding the balance between treatment and consultation to remain responsive to the need. Clinician hours will be 8 am-4 pm one day per week (subject to change).
Required Qualifications: Qualifications: *LMSW, LCSW, LCAT, LMHC, or equivalent, with at least 1 year relevant experience providing mental health services in early childhood and/or clinical setting, in the Bronx or a similarly diverse community; experience providing clinical services in the home or off-site; bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
