Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Complies with the Agency's Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, laws, regulations, and ethical standards applicable to your job duties. Adheres to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations including, but not limited to those governing confidentiality, privacy, program, billing and documentation standards. All duties must be performed in accordance with CCB's corporate compliance and ethics program. Exemplify Catholic Charities' mission, vision, guiding principles, policies and procedures. Promote and reinforce a client-centered, strength-based, solution-focused trauma-informed care. Cultivate a culture of sensitivity and respect for diversity. Team oriented. Trained in and knowledgeable of Catholic Charities assistance procedures for food, rent (including FEMA), Neighbor to Neighbor and Apollonia Guild. Meet with EFA clients to assess, determine the level of assistance and make referrals as necessary. Ability to offer budgeting training to clients as necessary. Remain current with DSS financial assistance programs and build relationships with DSS financial program workers. Outreach and maintain relationships with area food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters, as well as DSS and Care managers. Co-facilitate weekly sessions for both DVOP and OKPEAP along with all attendant duties. Maintain client records and required documentation. For DVOP, report compliance to referring agencies, attend quarterly DVOP meetings, continued outreach and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders including Courts, Parole, Probation and CPS, support community advocacy efforts related to family violence, maintain relationship with Niagara University's Criminal Justice and Social Work Departments, remain informed of current research and practices in family violence issues. For OKPEAP, group scheduling for Niagara Falls and Lockport, arrange court speakers for groups including confirmation letters and phone calls, ensure all clients receive notification letters (including clients' rights information) and certificates of attendance as appropriate, attend OKPEAP quarterly meetings, develop referral lists, remain current regarding community resources for families and connect families/individuals with other resources as necessary, continued outreach with stakeholders including Family Courts, attorneys, CPS, schools, pediatricians and DV service providers, remain informed regarding current research and practices for co-parenting and family law. Participate in chart audits and training. Assist District Director with cultivating and expanding strategic, strong and resilient relationships with stakeholders, service and funding partners to ensure effective service coordination and collaborative solution-building, as well as to identify, explore and develop opportunities to enhance, market and expand existing services and programs throughout Niagara County. Perform other duties as requested by Director. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: MSW or equivalent                   EXPERIENCE: Experience working in community-based setting preferred ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Evidence of exceptional interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills Ability to interact with diverse people Demonstrate ability to work in a team setting Demonstrate agility, initiative, innovative thinking, ability to work independently and efficiently (effective organizational and time management skills), produce results and meet deadlines Fluency with various computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel) and electronic databased systems SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires travel must possess a valid NYS driver license and agency-required level of auto insurance coverage and be able to travel as needed within Niagara and Erie County Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in order to participate in agency related activities/events that may take place outside typical business hours
