| Job Description: | As a School Social Worker with Gateway Longview, you will use your counseling experience to implement and evaluate treatment components of each students IEP. You will also maintain direct, clinical contacts with assigned students and their families. A School Social Worker will maintain a case load of students, assuring communication with all appropriate staff and community contacts, complete initial assessments and discharge summary reports, IEPs, and progress reports in a timely manner, and facilitate aftercare planning and transition of students to home school district upon discharge from program.
