| Job Description: | University of Rochester Medical Center has several full time MSW (LMSW required by 18 months) positions available. These positions are in the following clinical areas: • Emergency Department. The Emergency Department at URMC offers the region’s most advanced, and comprehensive emergency care. URMC is the home of the regions only Level One Trauma Center, only dedicated Burn Center and only Pediatric Emergency Department. We currently have full time day, full time evening and per diem MSW positions available in the ED. • Wilmot Cancer Institute. Inpatient blood and bone marrow transplant unit. Wilmot at URMC is home to the region’s first and largest BMT and Cellular Therapies program. Our program brings together over 30 years of experience, cutting-edge research, and extensive support services to provide patients and families the best possible treatment options. Full time. • Inpatient Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care positions. URMC has 886 licensed beds and social work is a vital part of the interdisciplinary team. Social work positions are unit based to offer the best opportunity for patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Multiple full time MSW positions available. • Outpatient Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. MSW works closely with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, individualized, state-of-the-art medical care, support and resources to patients with musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and allergic diseases. Full time MSW. • Outpatient transplant and Advanced Heart Failure clinics. MSW completes assessments and provides support and resources to those interested in donating kidney or liver in addition to providing social work services to the outpatient advanced heart failure clinic.
