Medical practitioners, psychologists, and social workers who have been plucked from their everyday lives and thrown into an unforeseen conflict face a battle of their own; preparing for the long-term traumatic impacts of the war on the next generation, and struggling to get these professions recognized as important.

Come and listen to social workers and psychologists from the Ukraine discuss their efforts to respond to the effects of the current war on soldiers, their family members, and the larger community. The delegation hopes to connect with those doing similar work in the Buffalo region, as well as the larger UBSSW community.

Lunch provided.
RSVP to sdlineha@buffalo.edu strongly recommended.
