Welcome new Full Time Foundation and current Part Time students!
As you begin your graduate career here at the UBSSW and continue through the program, it can feel overwhelming. Students often have questions relating to Field specifically. How do field placements work? Where will I be placed? What should I expect? These are all great questions! Please join us at a field information session on April 23rd at 5pm. Members of the field team will go over the field placement process and expectations.
Field is a really significant part of your social work training, connecting what you are learning in the classroom to real life social work practice settings. Field placements help to strengthen your professional experience and familiarize you with local social workers and human service agencies. As part of the MSW curriculum, you are required to successfully complete two field placement internships within a social work setting (two semesters, 15 hours per week).
We invite you to come to campus for this Field Info Session (for foundation year students), or join us online via GoTo meeting. The link will be provided to you once you RSVP.
RSVP to attend at the website above.
