Refugee women face a complex matrix of resilience and vulnerability in
resettlement. Sarah Richards-Desai uses a critical transnational feminist lens when exploring the social capital and economic integration of refugee women resettled in North America. Sarah is an organizer for World Refugee Day in WNY and a Board Member for Stitch Buffalo, a non-profit organization that promotes economic independence through the textile arts for refugee women in Buffalo.
