Online Services

For those enrolled in online or hybrid courses, UB Libraries offer a variety of resources, including:

  • Online Catalog Available on the main UB Libraries webpage to search for books, journals and articles.
  • Social Work Library Resources Page – Links to academic databases that contain articles most relevant to the practices of social work. Many offer full text versions of articles which you can print or download to your computer.
  • Online Course Reserve – Serves as an electronic reserve location for articles your professor requires you to read. To find the articles, enter your course prefix and number in the search box. On the next page, you will see a list of social work course sections. Select your course section.
  • Delivery+  – A free service that allows you to request a specific journal article or book chapter that you are unable to access through the academic databases. By requesting the article through Delivery+, a UB librarian will access it for you and it will be delivered electronically to your UBmail.  The first time you use Delivery+, you will be prompted to enter your UBITName and password and will be taken to the Delivery+ registration page.
