Generative AI has the potential to reshape higher education, social work and the work we do in both positive and negative ways. To prepare for these changes and have educated discussions about AI, it is important to understand the technology, how to use it and its limitations.

- Using ChatGPT Within Your Class: Explore how generative AI is being used in course development. We cover ways you can use ChatGPT to draft learning objectives, improve assignment prompts, create rubrics and integrate generative AI into your learning activities so that students can develop digital literacies with the technology.

Creating a Syllabus Statement for AI Use
- Crafting Syllabi Statements and Class Policies: In this session, we discuss the purpose of an AI policy and options for syllabi statements. We look at examples of syllabi statements and talk about the considerations of academic integrity, supporting student digital literacy and how a well-crafted statement can support the learning objectives for your course.
