Professor Deborah Waldrop will be awarded the Association for Gerontology Education in Social Work’s (AGESW) Career Achievement Award. The Career Achievement Award is awarded annually to an outstanding leader in social work education and aging, specifically someone dedicated to the mentoring of staff and students interested in aging, the promotion of gerontological education as well as major research and publications surrounding gerontology. AGESW works with social work educators, researchers and students interested in advancing the area of gerontological research, policy and education. Congratulations, Dr. Waldrop!
