As a result, I was invited in February 2021 to present a series of virtual workshops on program evaluation in Korea. That experience led to this exciting opportunity.”
According to Kyung-Sook Bang, Professor and Chair, Center for Human-Caring Nurse Leaders for the Future by BK21 FOUR project, College of Nursing, SNU, Kim was selected for her “extensive knowledge and experience with community-based participatory research, particularly with immigrants and refugee populations, which will help to transform and expand nursing research in Korea.”
“I must say this is an exciting opportunity for me. The wonderful thing about this fellowship is that it allows me to be creative and innovative in how I infuse social work principles and priorities in interdisciplinary spaces,” Kim continued. “I look forward to collaborating with a diverse number of faculty and providing consultation to their current projects with multicultural families in South Korea.”
