The Field Education Community Advisory Board serves to strengthen the department’s mission of continuing to develop quality field placements. Agency representatives assist the School in staying well-informed of the many changes that occur in our local practice community. MSW student representatives serve alongside agency reps to provide input into program planning and development.
The purpose of the Advisory Board is to:
-provide opportunities for conversations and collaboration, thereby enhancing the education of future social workers.
-assist our school in staying abreast of the many changes that occur in our local community service organizations.
-to strengthen our department’s mission of continuing to develop quality field placements for our students.
Meetings are scheduled from 9-10:30am the following dates:
-October 5, 2022 (in person, Amherst Center for Senior Services, 370 John James Audubon Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14228)
-December 7, 2022 (virtual via zoom)
-February 1, 2023 (virtual via zoom)
-April 5, 2023 (in person, Amherst Center for Senior Services, 370 John James Audubon Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14228)
