The research internship provides students with an opportunity to apply the skills, competencies, techniques, and tools of social work research. During the research internship, students engage in aspects of the research process with the guidance of faculty supervision. Learning activities may include, but are not limited to: literature reviews; project design and implementation; grant writing; IRB protocols; data collection; data entry; data analysis; writing results; and dissemination of research through conferences and papers.
