If you want to take social work courses at the UB School of Social Work without enrolling in a degree program, you may apply as a non-degree-seeking student, also called a non-matriculating student.
This option is ideal if you are seeking academic enrichment, continuing education hours, clinical courses for licensure or graduate-level coursework without pursuing a formal credential. It can also serve as a way to explore the social work profession or demonstrate academic readiness for our MSW program.
